On Saturday HTS Sasolburg hosted all the schools that offer technical subjects at the Fezile Dabi finals for the Skills competition. Schools such as Trio, Wilgerivier Ieketsetseng, Barnard Molokoane and other technical schools competed in the following trades:

Automotive, Welding, Construction, Woodworking, Electronics, and Power Systems.
And in Kroonstad the compitition for the trades Digital Systems, Plumbing, and Fitting and Machining took place for Schools in Fezile Dabi and Lejweleputswa At HTS Sasolburg we won 4 of the 6 trades with Ieketsetseng and Thuto Lesidi each winning a trade. In Kroonstad we won the Digital Systems. With the other trades been won by Schools from Lejweleputswa

• Automotive: Eerste plek – Jacques Smit,Tweede plek – Quintin van Niekerk
• Welding:Eerste plek – Mpho Masilo
• Civil Services:Tweede plek – Oneshwa Njiyela
• Electronics:Eerste plek – Kevin Filmater,Tweede plek – Maria Hlongwane,Derde plek – Siya Mpinda
• Power Systems:Eerste plek – Kayle Herbst
• Woodworking:Tweede plek – Keabetswe Lephoto
• Fitting & Machining:Tweede plek – Stephan van den Heever

This means that 11 of our learners will go through to the Free State finals in Bloemfontein. We are so proud of these learners.
