Educational fun in the Shelanti Private School classrooms
Foundation phase library looking cheerful and inviting…Libraries are an open-door for
every child to have fun, to learn, to discover and to share. Shelanti has its very own library space, where learners can relax, learn and go on an adventure.
The Grade 3’s taking turns to be the buyer and the seller to work out change in Rands. This exercise taught them how to work in a team, deductive reasoning and being able to apply quick mental strategies.
Shelanti was treated to an incredible Robotics workshop run by Emma and Natasha
from #kidsinnovateafrica. Robotics helps foster the development of many different
skills such as team work, creative out the box thinking, innovation, methodical
analysis and more.
GRADE 6 Learning by Playing The learners had to create their own Mathematics quizz on #kahoot and we used it to test their skills the following day.
